Fall 23 Workshop:

Armenia: The Power of Perseverance:Then and Now

CHQ Social Justice had the privilege of hosting a workshop for educators focused on the Armenian Genocide. This deeply impactful event provided teachers with essential insights and resources to effectively teach this crucial chapter of history in their classrooms.

Participants left committed to ensuring that the voices of the past are heard and honored, and that the lessons of the Armenian Genocide resonate with future generations.

What Our Participants Have To Say:

“I LOVED the dancing but really loved hearing from the speakers and their experiences. I teared up a few times just thinking about how I know I feel and how much they feel knowing all of the history they do with the personal connections”

“I just loved learning this history that is so often avoided. It was absolutely enthralling to listen to.”

“This was a fantastic workshop. Hearing stories and having an amazing expert on the topic to bring clarity. I loved working with others about how to implement this in a classroom as well.”
